A student makes a car, all of one lakh that pulling out 32km/L. Well, car manufacturers worth crores, invest most of the years in the development in the research and development of these cars and the machines they make. That is actually a fact that they are all backed up by expensive and innovative equipment, gadgets, and hi-end technology.

 

 

But the best part of the news is when students in the studying phase of engineering in Mangaluru, has put in just their thoughts and experiences into practice, and have crafted a niche for the common man. Call it a car for those who would like to be within a budget, or the bikers can call it an update version.

 

A professor of the college reported that in Mangaluru, it is sunny for half of the year, and then it rains for the remaining months, hence, the people who travel about mostly on bikes is quite uneasy, so this is where the thought centered at in these students, that led to the invention of this amazing product.

 

Their team comprises of a few hi-minded students along with a few knowledge bank professors. They have done a basic transfusion of a dynamo derived from a motorcycle, and then transformed into a small car. Although this concept is not entirely new, as in the past as well, a few student and professor team did something similar by taking a 150cc Pulsar engine, and converted it into a car with the help of a few extra parts.

 

The students from Mangaluru said, as they were looking to make something for the very common man, so they utilized a 150cc, 4-stroke bike dynamo, in this new car, that has a capacity to carry two passengers in it. It is an only cylinder air cooled engine that does not really need a cooling unit exactly. The car scales about 280 kgs, with a top speed of 80km/h, producing a mileage of 32km/L.

 

And they can customize the fuel store, with whatever capacity the buyer wants. The team has been successful in tests that were conducted on the car, within and on the outskirts of the city as well. While the look of the car is a bit elementary, but the facts remain that this could just be a skeleton frame and there could be a lot of details added on it order to make it look better and quite stunning in fact.
