The Yamaha Motor India is working on an all-new entry-level quarter-litre motorcycle. The new one Yamaha FZ 250 (Yamaha FZ25), this motorcycle will be positioned between the Yamaha R15 and R3. Yamaha India might be launching this bike on New Year January 24, 2017. As report, the Japanese automaker has invited us on a press conference to be held on 24th of January 2017. Above invitation indicates at the unveiling of a new product launch in India, which we think is Yamaha’s new bike 250cc.
 
The new version of Yamaha bike has been spotted on Indian roads coming soon. The new spotted model was packed with an air and oil cooled single-cylinder engine, indicating towards a 250cc motor. The new bike is expected to be developed in India with inputs from the Japanese R&D team. Yamaha motor India could also export this bike to other growing nations.

The new Yamaha model gets LED tail lamp instead of the conventional lamp. Its braking system comprises of Bybre sourced disc brakes; however, it misses out on ABS system. All the feature muscular design, the new motorcycle shares styling elements from the FZ 150 and MT series.

The new bike have diamond-type frame, this naked motorcycle looks like a more evolved version of the FZ. The new bike shares its several design and styling bits with the bigger FZ or MT series. Yamaha FZ 250 carries typical street bike traits include upright riding position with small rear foot pegs and single piece handlebar.

Yamaha FZ 2520 engine capacity more power 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled and transmission 5-speed or 6-speed with single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that does duty in the Brazilian-spec Fazer 250. Yamaha might re-tuned this motor for producing extra power and torque outputs. On the Fazer, this 249cc engine delivers a maximum power of 20.4bhp at 8,000rpm and 20.4Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. The new Yamaha power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 5-speed gearbox. The India-spec model might come with a 6-speed unit. All the above powertrain will meet the BSIV emission norms. 
 
Yamaha FZ 250 Suspension and Braking
 
The suspension mechanism of the new Yahama FZ 250 bike consists of 41mm telescopic forks upfront and a mono-shock rear setup. Its braking duties of the bike are taken care of by disc brakes.
