Although, the production of the model is still in progress, but certain dealerships have already started to receive the units. However, the launch is expected to take place in April 2015. As a part of the new launch, the Nano is expected to come with a make-over, like in terms of a new layout for its fenders, a changed headlight frame and a three spoke steering wheel.
To highlight, the Nano would be given a renovation, for the current year, with a renovation done to the front and rear fenders, new and better body colors would be added on, the smoky headlamps add on the beauty of the small car, not to forget the new improved features have been added too.
The Twist Active would be coming back with a functioning Tailgate, Nano’s premiere in this feature. The designers have given the Nano a new bootlid with hydraulic elevation, a new layout of the windshield, and a release mechanism with a key hole. The Brand is also expected to gift an automatic transmission (AMT) to the small car. The entire unit has been gifted by Magneti Marelli, due to which the brand claims better fuel efficiency, as compared to the manual transmission, around 10-15 percent. Other than these features, the Nano is expected to comprise of a new 3-spoke steering wheel, a new wood-like insert for the center console panel, glove box and gearlever, and new lounge fabrics. A bigger 24L fuel tank was also seen at the showcase. (Auto Expo 2014).
