The production ready Hexa, is expected to be powered by a 2.2L varicor diesel engine, producing 154bhp and 40.8kgs of force, paired to an option of a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. As soon as the product goes into production, it would become the prime product to receive a six speed manual or auto transmission in this segment by the brand. The Hexa would also be getting another option of torque-on-demand four wheel drive system.

A turbo-twist variant of the 2.2L dynamo, producing 175 bhp is expected to be on the platter, but it still needs to be seen if it is for the Indian roads or not. The Hexa amounts in at 4,764mm lengthwise, 1,895mm in width and 1,780mm tall and incorporates a wheelbase of 2,850mm giving it the most length amongst the Tata’s SUV segment.
