Ratan Tata, chairman of Tata Sons, and his personal association has reportedly made an invested in Ampere Vehicles that is a new company founded by a woman industrialist. Ampere is a company based in Coimbatore, engaged into making and developing electronic vehicles comprising e-scooters, e-cycles and e-three wheelers.

Hemalatha Annamalai, co-founder of Ampere, reported that the finance would be utilized to streamline the functioning and the operations of the company.

She also quoted that Mr. Tata made the investment added on with Ampere's present investor Forum Synergies. Spain's Axon Capital is also one of the co-investors participating in shaping up the Ampere. Ms. Annamalai reportedly said she commenced her business journey at the age of 27 post of pursuing a job in the software field. Ampere is her one of her 5 entrepreneurial ventures that was founded back in the year 2008.Although we do not have any updates regarding how much stake, does Tata hold as per their investment.
 
The past Tata Group chief has been progressively investing his particular justice in a few of start-ups, post his departure.
