The petrol price have hike by Rs 10.80 per litre since June, excluding VAT .The Delhi petrol price hiked Rs. 13.06 per litre, inclusive of Sate tax since June.
Indian Oil Corp, the nation’s largest oil firm, said the average international petrol price has hiked $117.40 barrel from $11.44 a barrel, while on average exchange rate has deteriorated to Rs.66.06 dollar in September from Rs.63.88 dollar in the second half of August.
