Petrol price hiked by 75 paise and diesel by 50 a litre
Petrol and deisel prices in India is going to revised Once again which will be effective from 4 january 2014. Petrol prices in Delhi revised from Rs 71.50 a litre to Rs 72.25 ,while diesel would hike to Rs 54.80 from Rs 53.30 a litre.

Government decided to make this hike to increase the comission paid to petrol pump dealers. Prices were last increased on December 20,to increase in dealer commission. Indian oil said “There is a continued volatility in the international oil prices because of geopolitical and economic developments around the globe,"
