Mercedes-Benz India has presented the Comand online app in variants like the CLS 250 CDI and the latest E-Class Cabriolet.

Mercedes-Benz India has presented the Comand online app in variants like the CLS 250 CDI and the latest E-Class Cabriolet. This cloud based connecting app would now be a part of all Mercedes-Benz cars equipped with the Comand Online system (New Telematics Generation (NTG) 4.5 and above (NTG 4.5, 5*1 and 5*2) including the ML-Class, GL-Class, S-Class and all the AMG models.

Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, Eberhard Kern said that they are confident that the Mercedes-Benz Apps would add value to our customers and will not only be a standard offering for our new cars, but also for all our existing customers who have Comand Online system in their cars. This would restate our engagement of providing the best purchase contact for our customers. 
 
This new feature would enable the user to have unrestricted Internet usage, also with added advantage of Apps like Mercedes-Benz Radio, TuneIn Radio, Weather, News, RSS News Feeds et al which are presently a part of the Mercedes-Benz Apps service portfolio in India. These apps can be used via internet data connectivity through a Bluetooth enabled smartphone including Apple iPhone, BlackBerry and Android or Windows-based smartphones. The German car maker says that this kind of action will be made available on more models soon.
