Maruti Alto crosses 25 lakh sales milestone
Maruti Alto hatchback has sold more than 25L units. Maruti has been discontinued 800, but till date Auto continues to sell and averages between 25,000-30,000 units every month.
Maruti is India’s largest car manufacturer and exporter. The Company has manufactured 1.5 million family and 40,000 cars every year. Maruti Suzuki has exported more than 2.85L units of Alto that’s contributes to its 25L sales milestone.
The Company was introduced Alto k10 in August 2010 and marketing target four lakh units. Last Auto version Auto 800 launches in October 2012. It sold over 1L units in first four months. Maruti Alto hatchback has sold more than 25L units. Maruti has been discontinued 800, but till date Auto continues to sell and averages between 25,000-30,000 units every month.
Prices of the Alto 800 start from Rs 2.72 lakh and the Alto K10’s prices start from Rs 3.15 lakh, all prices ex-showroom Delhi. You also get CNG and LPG variants.
