Mahindra is Ready For New Sports Utility Vehicle XUV500

The Indian Automaker, Mahindra & Mahindra will unveil its new sports utility vehicle, XUV500 by the end of this fiscal year. According to customers’ feedback, the company has planned to launch a low variant XUV 500. Mahindra XUV 500 was being introduced by automaker in 2011. At present, the company sells its three variants price ranging between Rs12.13 lakh to Rs 14.77 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The XUV is seven-seat SUV with more advanced monocoque giving it better hold and stability at high speed. The SUV is offered with one engine, 2.2-liter mHawk diesel, same as that in Scorpio, but will produce more power and torque for XUV.

XUV is present in three versions- the front wheel drive comes in W6 and W8 versions while only W8 version is present in all-wheel-drive. The comfort and convenience includes ABS, ESP and 6 airbags adding up with digital climate control, AC vents for all three rows, rear parking sensors, cooled box, steering mounted controls and Satnav system. This impressive, comfortable, dynamic and much more SUV may cost about 13-14 lakh.
