Report-Made in India trucks now on the roads of Trinidad and Tobago

DICV- Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. the solely owned branch of Daimler AG, Germany with Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation, Japan (MFTBC), a Daimler Company presented DICV-manufactured trucks in Trinidad and Tobago.

 

Ever since these trucks were exported way back in May 2013, Trinidad and Tobago capture the market at the 121th rank and the premier rank in the market of South America. It has been reported that a local distributer in the name of Diamond Motors would be responsible for the selling these heavy vehicles across the markets in South America.

 

Excluding Trinidad and Tobago, DICV does sends out the Fuso truck variants to retail in countries like Kenya, Zambia, Sri Lanka and Tanzania with more markets to come up in the region, the company quoted.

 

The Fuso truck products crafted at the brand’s unit at Oragadam, Chennai, consists of five products classified under Heavy and Medium service. The Heavy service variant (25-49 tn.) sports models such as the FJ, FO and FZ, while the Medium service (9-16 tn.) has the FA and FI versions.
