The brand’s MD and CEO, Bo Shin Seo, quoted in an interview that they are aiming at selling across 5 lakh units in the current year 2015.

Though, with booming variants such as the i20 series that comprises the Elite i20 and the i20 Active, already displaying the increasing high figures, the company’s goals may not be too far out of sight.The company has been announcing even before its launch about targeting 15000 bookings for the compact SUV Hyundai Creta. The upsurge in demand would be met by an elevation in production at Hyundai’s two of the manufacturing units located on the outskirts of Chennai from the present 700,000 units each year to 1 million units in a gradual phase as quoted by Mr. Seo.
