7.4 percent fall in car sales in July 2013

Production:

The Auto industry produced 1,729,002 vehicles in market including passenger, commercial, two wheelers and three wheelers vehicles in last month. In same month 2012 auto industry produced 1,745,532 vehicles in market. As a compared to last year 2012 and current year 2013 in same month(July) auto industry has decline around (-) 0.95 %.

Domestic Sales:

Domestic sales of auto industry has decline (-) 2.09 % as a compared to last year and current year during the month April and July.

1.Passenger Vehicles: In automobiles market has declined (-) 7.49 % of Passenger vehicles during April-July 2013 and same period of last month.

2.Three Wheelers: In automobiles market has declined (-) 3.45 % of Passenger vehicles during April-July 2013 and same period of last month.

3.Two Wheelers: In automobiles market has declined (-) 0.64 % of Passenger vehicles during April-July 2013 and same period of last month.

Export:

Automobiles Industry export vehicles has declined (-) 3.37% during April-July 2013. Export ratio of vehicle also decline to other segment like commercial vehicles (-) 26.53% and Two Wheelers is (-) 9.88%.
