Report - A Bus ride in Kolkata is under coverage now

According to the layout, 2 cameras have been installed inshore, and one of them is kept outside of the bus, at the rear of the bus. The camera with a built in storage capacity of 100GB would be able to capture the footage and store it up to 3 days, and there would be a provision for the captured footage to be over written within these 3 days. This would now really help, in case of any complaints received to check on the reality and the facts from the concerned bus.

These buses have been reportedly inspected by the Kolkata Police, and they are quite satisfied with the new safety aspect for the common people. It has been announced by the CSTC managing director, Mr. Bhishmadeb Dasgupta that any kind of pick pocketing, theft or misbehavior happening inside the bus travel, which is quite a daily thing in India, while travelling in Public Transport, would be taken care of and the victim will have to register the complaint within 3 days.
