The Activa 125 was first showcased at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo and anticipated to launch any time in this month. Price details not yet revealed might be it comes up with the price tag of INR. 56,000.
Activa 125 will be powered by the 125 cc 4 stroke Air cooled SI Engine churns out 8.6bhp and 10.12Nm of torque. Styling cues of Activa 125 heavily influence by the Aviator with the crowned headlights and the front chrome bar. It also features the digital console and clear lens indicators.
The all new Activa 125 will be available in two versions, standard and the deluxe both enabled with the tubeless tyres and CBS (combined brake system).whereas the Deluxe version will sports alloy wheels and a disc brakes at the front, the standard version will carry drum brakes.
Activa has captured the highest market share in India since it was launched, it was the highest selling scooter in India. It came as a unisex scooter which becomes very popular among Indian people and both male and female prefer lot to use this scooter, but now there is the rival in markets like Mahindra and Suzuki. Honda saw an opportunity which would be now taken care with this new offering. The Activa 125 will be available in four color option such as Sword Silver Metallic, Midnight Blue Metallic, Pearl Sunbeam and Black.
