Mercedes C 450 AMG Sport on its way to India
As per the resources, Mercedes Benz India is working on a plan to introduce the Mercedes C450 AMG Sport model, that would be positioned just below the Mercedes C63 AMG and just a little over the CLA 45 AMG in the line-up for the brand. The Mercedes C 450 AMG Sport model marked its role at the 2015 Detroit Motor Show that tries to unite the intensity of a full-on Mercedes-AMG variant with the composure and stability of a regular Mercedes-Benz.

It definitely impresses the average buyers in the market, who do not intend to invest a very huge amount for a C63 AMG, but still has a niche to own a C- Class machine with performance as well.
Power is derived from an updated variant of the twin-turbo 3.0-L V6 petrol unit that develops 367 hp and 520 Nm of utmost force. It is mated to a 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission that directs the power to all four wheels over a 4MATIC AWD system. This allows the Mercedes C 450 AMG Sport to run from 0-96 km/h in merely 4.9 seconds, and speeds at a restricted top speed of 250 km/h. The Mercedes C 450 AMG Sport would be put on the market as a forte product, and would most likely be introduced in Indian through the CBU route, post to its launch. Post to its launch in the country, it would be the only variant in this particular segment, as talking about the rest like BMW’s petrol 3-series model, namely the BMW M3, whereas the Audi S4 3.0 TFSI has been discontinued.
