Revealing the Bajaj Chetak 2016
As there were rumour mills floating in the market regarding the once big hype-Bajaj Chetak, the Pune based manufacturer has categorically refused to the scooter market, as it has been reported by Hindustan Times. As per the last reports, it was believed that the Bajaj Chetak would be marking a come-back at the 2016 Auto Expo with a 125-150cc four stroke engine.

Reports also speculated that the Brand would utilize its DTS-I technology in the making of scooter too. But the reported have been put to a full stop by Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto. He stated that there is no plan to roll out scooter at this point of time; the company indeed is only focusing on motorcycles at present.
Although, this is not the best time around for the company, with reported data suggesting a drop in sales by 15.6 percent. Still the company is in no mood to expand any further. There was an inflation seen in the industry, by a fair number of 8.1 percent.In the mean while Bajaj is quite hopeful with its adventure sports addition and hopes to yield out profit from their new segment.
