Maruti Suzuki launched the Ciaz concept sedan at Delhi motor Show
Ciaz codenamed YL1 is based on the Suzuki Authentic concept it was earlier showcased at the Shanghai Auto Show 2013 and this will replace the Maruti current Sedan SX4.
Maruti has premiered its concept car Ciaz today at the Auto Expo 2014. Ciaz codenamed YL1 is based on the Suzuki Authentic concept it was earlier showcased at the Shanghai Auto Show 2013 and this will replace the Maruti current Sedan SX4.
The all new Sedan Ciaz will be expected to launch during the festive season eventually Maruti will get the good sales. Earlier sedan has not performed well in terms of sales but this time Maruti has just tied that potential with the all new versions which will definitely raise the sales.
Ciaz interiors would be quite similar to Maruti Swift and Ertiga again, only in top-spec variant it gets the beige and black combination for the interiors with faux wood inserts. To encite the cutomers it gets the lavish exteriors also the front end of the cars sport extended headlamps and the prominent grille shining right at the front. This car also gets the good ground clearance.
Ciaz might be available with the two engine options which would be the same Ertiga’s 1.4-litre K2 petrol engine, and another is 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine mated with the five speed manual transmission as well as the automatic transmission.
Ciaz expected price range would be between Rs 7.7 lakh to Rs 12 lakh and it can compete directly against the likes of Hyundai Verna, Honda City, VW Vento and others.
