2014 Toyota Corolla launched in Indonesia and debut at Delhi Auto Expo
The new corolla is available in both the six speed manual transmission and four speed automatic transmissions, Based on Furia concept the Corolla is mated with the same 1.8 petrol engine which produces the maximum power and torque of 151PS and 190Nm.
Toyota the Japanese car maker has launched its sedan Corolla in Indonesia; it is available in petrol version only with two variants. Still Indian car market is waiting for the launch of corolla.
The new corolla is available in both the six speed manual transmission and four speed automatic transmissions, Based on Furia concept the Corolla is mated with the same 1.8 petrol engine which produces the maximum power and torque of 151PS and 190Nm. Now it is longer and wider than the current model and wheelbase is also extended by 100mm.
Corolla’s Standard model featured with AC, touchscreen navigation, dual airbags ABS with EBD and Brake Assist and others THIS WOULD COSTS AROUND 372.1 million rupiah (around 19 lakh), whereas the automatic variants comes with features like with projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, Climatronic control, rain sensing wipers, leather wrapped steering, etc, it costs at 400 million Indonesian rupiah (around 20.5 lakh).
The new Corolla will exhibit at Indian Auto Expo 2014 scheduled for February. It has been also spotted earlier while the road tests.
