McLaren reveals new 650S coupe ahead of Geneva Motor Show 2014
The 650S would range between MP4-12C and the P1 and it is available in the both forms as a coupe or a convertible as well. The 650S gets the power of M838T twin-turbo V8 engine which also powered the MP4-12C, produces 641hp for coupe.
Supercarmaker MClaren has unveiled its new car 650S Coupe before its global launch at Geneva Motor Show 2014. The 650S would range between MP4-12C and the P1 and it is available in the both forms as a coupe or a convertible as well. The 650S gets the power of M838T twin-turbo V8 engine which also powered the MP4-12C, produces 641hp for coupe. The company has not revealed more details about the coupe but said it would be the enhance improvement with the MP4-12C’s figures.
MCLaren 650S has been designed and developed by keeping this in mind to give the enthusiast driver the ultimate in luxury, engagement and excitement. The McLaren 650S will offer the widest breadth of capabilities of any supercar, it has Uniquely enhanced active aerodynamics and Proactive Chassis Control systems optimize the capabilities and usability .
‘As always with McLaren, the new design is there for good engineering reasons’ says McLaren Automotive CEO Mike Flewitt. ‘The newly designed front bumper has improves downforce and steering turn-in. The high speed handling balance is now even better. The LED lights use less power and it is last longer.
The McLaren gets the features such as IRIS satellite navigation with Bluetooth telephony, wireless tethering, DAB digital radio (SIRIUS satellite radio in North America),audio streaming and voice control as standard, whereas also offers enhanced levels of optional specification as offered earlier. McLaren is designed to be the best and the most engaging driver’s car in its class.so far it is not a stripped out road racer.
