Borgward is back after 5 decades

Borgward, an automobile company from Germany, has declared bankruptcy back in the year 1961.Now the car maker is all set to venture out once again, and would mark a come back by launching out an SUV, in the upcoming year. In an association with Foton Motors, based in Beijing, their products would be under the label of Christian Borgward, who is the grandson of the founder of the brand, Mr. FW Borgward, along with Ulrich Walker who is an ex-Daimler Chine boss.

The Borgward brand was highlighted when its lately showcased its original Isabella Coupes hailing from the 1950s, and also declared their plans to built a brand new model.The model has now been established to be an SUV intended to make its initial public introduction at Frankfurt Auto Show in the month of September. The model is predictable to aim at the market in Chine primarily chased by more recognized markets like Europe.

                                                                                                                                                         As there is a partner from Chine, in the making of the car, it is much possible that the SUV from Borgward may manufacture the car in China itself, although not confirmed yet.At present based in Germany, the company has employee strength of nearly 1,000 people engaged in the making.We assume that the company might send in a sample to be displayed at the Indian Auto Show, 2016, while not been established yet. But as the SUV market is quite hot, at this point of time, we really wish such international brands could make its way to the Indian roads as well.
