Volkswagen Polo based crossover get confirmation for production

The cross over segment is coming up like boom in the industry and becoming quite popular within the consumer too. So the Volkswagen is also planning to put their share in it. VW polo based sub compact crossover has been in the talks since a long now. The German manufacturer is keen in it and its concept was released at the 2014 Geneva Motor show. And now the news is to be believed for the brand to start with the production (as per Inautonews).

As the earlier model of this segment has been in the market since 2009 and is more than due for a makeover. The next updated model is expected to early in 2016.(but we say the wait is worth)

The 5 door version is in for saving on the developing and producing costs, putting a halt to the not so popular 3 door version. The new model should be able to cater the demand on consumer across the European, Asia-Pacific, and the South American markets. As per the reports it would not be sold in the U.S markets.

Engine options may come with a better power seeking the larger and heavier body. The new model would come up with better safety options, comfort and on the go features. The overall design can be inspired by the T-Roc.
