The New Mitsubishi Pajero Sport (India bound) 2016
Mitsubishi is also reported to be currently involved in the development of the third generation of the Pajero Sport , the machine is expected to reach India in 2016.
As per GoAuto, there gallery has been uploaded by spy shots of the new machine. The pictures have been gifted by Mr. Stuart Martin. The layout and the design for the new machine from the Brand has welcomed critiques.
We assume the brand has taken a limited step in order to enhance the GR-HEV utility concept for the impact on the New Pajero Sport. The model is made up with kind of similar deep lines, fender layout and lights. A report from Thailand expects the premiere in Q3 2015.
The new model is expected to be powered by a 2.4L engine. Mitsubishi is also reported to be currently involved in the development of the third generation of the Pajero Sport , which is accordingly to be launched later this year.The prime shots were floated from Australia, where is it also termed the Mitsubishi Challenger, as per GoAuto.
The exterior layout of the model, acquires hints from the GR-HEV utility concept. Quite bold line running across the side profile of the model is visible through its wrap, which is similar to the concept.
The current model is powered by a 2.5L –four cylinder turbo diesel engine, pulling out 176 bhp, at 4000 rpm and 400NM force at 2500 rpm. It is expected for the latest model to feature the all new 2.4L MIVEC turbo-diesel engine producing 181PS and 430 Nm of Force. We assume the brand to opt for the 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options for the new variant.
Post the Thai market launch, the machine is expected to reach India in 2016. The new variant could also be assembled at Hindustan Motor’s Tiruvallur plant, wherein the current option is manufactured too.
