The government as well as the citizens of our country are dealing and struggling with the pollution issues on an everyday basis, the government has been trying to deal with the increasing pollution and decisions connected to the emission standard, this move would optimistically make possible regulation of major concerns such as fuel technology to motor body provision, and fuel emissions, among the rest of the issues.

As per Mr. Nitin Gadkari, the Minister of Road Transport and Highways reported that a suggestion for a sovereign transport department to check on with the concerns such as technology, fuel and emissions is in the pipeline.  This department would receive its own integrity, and would be considered to be separate from the Ministry of Road Transport and the Highways Ministry; it would also obtain a distinct secretary.

Gadkari quoted that the region is immense and he wishes to mark a roadmap for faster expansion of the sector. The idea following is also to put a stop on dishonesty and make the implementation of the Ministry and departments crystal clear, completing the allotted tasks in a timely manner.

 

The department would make the effort to make sure observance of vehicle emission norms in India and a rapid expansion of the sector. To add on, with the government's plan to proffer incentives of up to Rs. 1.5 lakh for giving up on the old and aged vehicles also submits the arrangement of this particular department imperative.

 

Although the unique timeline of the Auto Fuel Policy speaks that BS IV is to be adapted throughout our country by the year 2017, BS V by 2020, and BS VI by 2024. While the government has been under pressure to deal with the overpowering growth in pollution intensity across the country, Gadkari has recommended car manufacturers to abide by the Euro 6 emission norms as soon as possible.
