Spy shots for the new Kia Optima exteriors thoroughly exposed

Although, the mid-sized sedan launches in New York on the 1st April 2015. Hardly a day away after Kia moderately conceded the fourth-generation Optima, new spy shots have floated on the web divulging the machine completely. The front fore of the Korean spec Optima (named – Kia K5) is a quite contrasting from what was seen in the official photos; the front fender differs, the side air inlets are quite small or mostly likely non-visible, the air dam is changed, and there are LED fog lamps introduced at the input.

 

The skirting looks to be similar to the outgoing model. The rear window panel has become sleeker and has been mounted. The shape of the quarter glass possibly has also been twisted, making it smaller than before, with a black plastic outerwall at the back. The new layout of the thinner taillights cut most of the boot lid now. The layouts of the LED tail lamps seem to be inspired from that of the Mercedes S-Class Coupe. The car visible in the spy shot had a single exhaust system, but the top end model might feature a twin exhaust system.
