The commercial vehicles running on the Indian roads would be finally safer now, as starting from the 1st of October 2015, and these entire vehicles would have to be outfitted with an ABS and a speed limiter. ABS would only be a compulsive component on the vehicle hat weigh 12 tons or more and would comprise multi-axle something closer to the tractor type of a layout, that would be operational throughout the country.

All the commercial vehicles operational on the roads would now have to be equipped with an ABS along with Speed limiting components that is now going to be inspected on a compulsion.

However, this would imply on the just the vehicles manufactured after the said date that would need to have this accumulation.

It’s time now, the commercial vehicles running on the Indian roads would be finally safer now, as starting from the 1st of October 2015, and these entire vehicles would have to be outfitted with an ABS and a speed limiter. ABS would only be a compulsive component on the vehicle hat weigh 12 tons or more and would comprise multi-axle something closer to the tractor type of a layout, that would be operational throughout the country.

The speed of the vehicles would now be limited to 80 kmph binding all the large commercial vehicles. Makers like Tata already equip their vehicles with speed controllers, in most of their range. However, this latest guideline would put a pause on the speed of its larger vehicles such as the Tata 407 truck.

The new edict would successfully be forced on the 1st of October 2015 however only valid on vehicles developed after that day.

This interprets that all vehicles manufactured prior to that date and in stock at different store halls throughout the country can still be traded and recorded even after the aforesaid date. A few segments of the country would also put a BS4 emissions custom on smaller commercial models throughout the country on the aforesaid engagement. These areas would majorly comprise regions from North India in and around the NCR zone and remaining foremost metros in India.

This definitely sounds like a much needed initiative, for ensuring the safety of people on the roads.
