The Mitsubishi Motor Corporation initiated structuring of their new work shop in Indonesia last week. The new set-up is located in Bekasi, West Java, would be manufacturing the Suzuki Ertiga sized MPV commencing 2017.but media reports suggest that the machine should be powered by a 1.5L petrol dynamo.

The new set-up is located in Bekasi, West Java, would be manufacturing the Suzuki Ertiga sized MPV commencing 2017.The CEO of the MMC, Osamu Masuko announced that they are planning for a smaller MPV, as per the demand in the Indonesian market. The MPV segment accounts to 36 percent of the market in passenger cars in Indonesia. There has been a huge demand starting 2012, when the Suzuki Ertiga was launched later followed by Honda Mobilio in 2014.

The MPV from Mitsubishi is expected to get inspired by the concept AR, that has been showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2013.As per the brand the new design would be Sporty and rugged to look at with an upscale interior. Other details haven’t been out yet, but media reports suggest that the machine should be powered by a 1.5L petrol dynamo.
 
Mr. Masuko reported that the MPV is crafted for Indonesian market demand. Recognizing to the association of the Indian and Indonesian market preferences (models such as the Ertiga, Mobilio and Innova, and the forthcoming 3-row Wagon R MPV are will be sold in both countries), Mitsubishi could opt it for the Indian market. Once on roads the new machine would face off with the Honda Mobilio, Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota Avanza, Daihatsu Xenia Expected to be out on the roads by 2017.
