Mahindra Bolero to top the lists of SUV

Mahindra Bolero still continues to be the highest selling car in the SUV segment for nine years consecutively. Yet again this time, Mahindra and Mahindra ltd declared that their machine is yet amongst the top selling SUVs for the last nine years in a row. The SUV has been sitting on this position since 2007, and continues to steal the limelight from another other new or old variants introduced in the market.

 

Mahindra has managed to sell approx. one lakh units of the Bolero for the fourth consecutive year. They also boasted that the model has been ranked 5th among the top selling passenger vehicles in India in FY 2015. The officials at the company say that it’s more do to with the kind of trust people have developed in the SUV and the brand. The machine has also been made up with the changes in the lifestyle of the people and their lifestyles.

 

Talking about the machine, it surely has a solid body that has been in the limelight for the tuff driving conditions in the country. The brand has a plan to seen roll out a new Bolero with a make-over, and a compact size for the city life. The new vehicle would be a 7-seater, getting its power by the 1.5L diesel dynamo. It is expected to be paired with a 3-cylinder motor. It is expected this new Bolero would be codenamed U301, and would be platter in two options, a 5-speed automatic and manual transmission. The new Bolero would surely enhance the sales for the Brand.
