New spy shots of the all new Maruti YBS a code name, for the sub4-meter SUV, brings notice to the compact size of the new product. Looks like once on road would be facing a rift with the Ford Eco sport. Should be out on sale in the month of January 2016. As per the reports the machine should be based upon the Swifts platform.
The brand has a quite a plan to mark 2 million units annually sold. Also Maruti has a line up in the few coming years, with such variants like the YBA, SX4 S-cross and they would be competing with the currently running Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano and Mahindra Scorpio. The YBA would be available in both petrol and diesel variants according to sources. It is expected that Maruti has a choice to use the patent 1.2L-four cylinder K-series dynamo or the new 1.0L turbocharged Booster jet that is presented in the iK-@ concept at the Geneva Motor Show.
The YBA might have a diesel engine too with a 1.3L sourced out from Fiat, the multiJet engine, this is a self-evolved engine. Before the YBA gets ready, the brand is all set to present its YRA a premium hatchback by this year end. The new machine is expected to be estimated in between5-8 lakhs ex showroom.
