The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz hybrid to be launched tomorrow

The folks at Maruti are all set to roll out their hybrid version of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, on the 01st September 2015 at the domestic market of the country.The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz was rolled out on the Indian roads in the month of October, 2014, in less than a year’s time; the car was able to rank itself as one of the best selling cars in the premium mid sedan segment in the market. The company has been engaged in working a mild Hybrid version, lately and the same would be rolled out tomorrow in the native market of the country.

The car is named as the Ciaz SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki), the new model would acquire a battery with a larger capacity, an inbuilt starter generator and start-stop technology that would enhance the car’s mileage. Compare to the existing diesel variant’s ARAI certified 26.21km/l, the Ciaz SHVS is predicted to offer more than 28km/l. Along with such a mileage, the Ciaz Hybrid would turn out to be the country's most fuel-efficient car.Suzuki's latest mild hybrid system integrated with an ISG (integrated starter generator), offers engine power assistance engaging the engine and completes efficient power regeneration. Attached with ISG, this braking system also supports in the engine start-stop technology that mechanically halts the engine at a traffic signal and sets up upon while the drivers would let loose the clutch.

Other than the SHVS mild hybrid system, Maruti Suzuki would also offer driver-side airbag throughout all the Ciaz models. Whereas from the V(O), the Ciaz would acquire dual airbags, Anti-locking braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD) system as a regular feature.While the need o the hour is to switch our drivers to the Hybrid node, and this initiative by the Brand Maruti is certainly an innovative step, especially considered by the polluted roads of our country.
