Coming to the short coming in this new model is the boot that is not present in the car. In the new GenX Nano, the brand has addressed the requirement of an amenable tail gate. Apart from this, the GenX Nano would be getting a new design at the fore and the rear fenders, cured headlights and a new home for the exhaust. It is also speculated to sport a larger fuel tank. And a few more changes are expected to be there in the machine on the inshore too, with a new look of the interiors.

Talking about the features, the GenX Nano would come with a power steering, air-conditioner with a heater, central lock, ORVMs on dual corners and a multimedia infotainment system, along with a Bluetooth, AUX and USB connection.

The GenX Nano would go on to remain similar as far as the engine is concerned. So, it would be the same 624cc 2-cylinder gasoline unit that makes 38PS and 51Nm. However, apart from the 4-speed manual transmission, this one would add on an optional AMT.  In order to grab better sales, Tata has already floated a pre-launch offer wherein current Nano customers have an option to exchange their car for a decent price at the dealership and would get an add-on bonus of Rs20, 000. With the car set to be out on May 2, we expect it to be priced a bit higher than the top-end petrol XT trim at around Rs 2.7 lakh.
