Tata Motors to launch Safari Storme VX variant in September

Tata Motors has planned to expand its portfolio in Indonesia with the launch of the top end VX variant of Safari Storme at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2014 which is scheduled for September this year.

Earlier at the last show Tata had unveiled the base EX version of Safari Storme along with some other passenger vehicles like The Aria and Vista. The company expecting a lot from the Indonesian Market therefore wanted to bring the another variant of Safari Storme.

Manoj Arora, head of marketing and sales for Tata Motors in Indonesia reveals that the EX version of Safari Storme will be priced at 285 million Indonesian Rupiah (INR 15.38 lakhs), whereas the VX variant will be priced at 300 million Rupiah (INR 16.19 lakhs).

The Storme VX  and EX both variant equipped with the 2.2-liter four-cylinder motor churns out 140 PS at 4,000 rpm and 320 Nm of torque between 1,700-2,700 rpm. VX variant carry the more enhanced features such as dual front airbags, alloy wheels, fog lights, steering mounted audio controls, entertainment system enabled with Bluetooth compatibility, leather seats and parking sensors.
