JDM spec Suzuki Alto 2015 spied running on the Indian Roads. Now the model has the Indian market eyeing on it, although the launch is not expected in Indian sooner or later right now.

JDM spec Suzuki Alto 2015 spied running on the Indian Roads. The brand launched the eighth generation of its much hyped KEI-CAR, the Alto on the roads of Japan last year,in 2014. Now the model has the Indian market eyeing on it, although the launch is not expected in Indian sooner or later right now.
Zauba.com has reported that the Brand has imported 4 units of the machine to India, basically for testing on the Indian roads. These R&D units would be used for testing the components, and other material, by the expert engineers who might find it suitable for the Indian market too. Although as of now there are no plans to get the new machines to the Indian consumers as there are Alto 800 and Alto K10 already floating great in the market.

The Alto JDM is comparatively standing on an all new platform;it is light in weight by 60kgs comparing to its forerunner. It gets it power by the three-cylinder 0.66L gasoline engine pulling out 48/51 hp and a Value Valve Timing system.
The brand offers a three gear box variants in the new machine: 5-speed manual, 5-speed AMT and a CVT. Would be available in 2WD and 4WD, the new machine is a fuel efficient option giving out a 25.2km/L to 37km/L.
 
The dimension of the new Alto is all of 3395mm in length, 1475mm wide, and 1475-1500mm tall(as per the variant).The brand is also gearing up for introducing another Alto Turbo RS with a 64 hp dynamo on the Japanese roads in the coming few months.
