According to spied pictures, Hilux 2016, sports a two-cab variant, fitted with features like HID projector headlamps, LED day time running lights and alloy wheels. The car would be equipped with eh latest diesel engines, once out on the roads in the second half of this year. Toyota would exchange the 2.5- and 3.0-L diesel dynamos with new 2.4- and 2.8-L products that would end up in a better fuel economy. Mated to 5- and 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions, these engines would also consist of flexible modes for driving enhancing the power and an elevated efficiency.
 
 
Both the models, the Hilux and Fortuner, would be based on a new or re-engineered variant of their ladder-frame base.
