The Kite is erect on a twisted version of the older sibling platform, and its engine would consist of a 1.2L petrol dynamo or a 1.05L three-cylinder diesel dynamo. Mated to the engine, there are two options between the latest AMT or a manual gearbox, also there are reports of e-clutch system as an option too.
We expect the new hatchback kite a sub-sedan to be out in the market later this year. Once on the roads it would be having a face-off with Maruti Celerio, Maruti Wagon, Hyundai i10, Honda Brio and Chevrolet Beat. The expected price of the car should be approx. Rs.3.5 to 4.5 lakhs, ex-showroom rates.
