Renault to bring entry level car by 2015

Now company is focusing on the volumetric sales with keeping in mind the Indians car buying habits and is also working on sustainable strategies for coming years.

Renault India has planned to bring an entry level vehicle in India. Renault is coming to this way because with the existing portfolio it was not able to achieve the sufficient market share in India. Barely, the Renault Duster helped in capturing 2.5% of the market share. Hence it is planned to gear up the market share up to 5% with the new entry level vehicle in India. This model might reach to Indian market by 2015.

It is reported, the company is currently investing on to design a car made by Indians and manufactured in India locally. The ca was earlier showcased at the recently held Auto Expo 2014, indicates towards its launch in India by 2015.Renault will also manufacture the same vehicle in Brazil. This vehicle will compete against the likes of Hyundai Eon and Maruti Eon.

Apart from introducing new car, Renault is also planning to analyze the MPV segment of India.
