It is reported that ZF Sachs is going to supply the AMT modules for the brands.
Revealing The New Renault AMT
 
The Grand i10 would be the first model to get equipped with the AMT. This model was out on the roads in the month of September 2013.The car is available in a petrol and diesel engine, along with a 4-speed automatic transmission optional. It still not confirmed if the AMT would be clubbed in the diesel or the petrol variant.
 
The Renault product to get equipped with an AMT is the XBA that would be out on the 20th May 2015 in India. The 0.8L petrol dynamo of the small model along with AMT is speculated to make fuel efficiency high, though the French manufacturer has not revealed more details Maruti is at present offering an AMT to Celerio and Alto K10, and Tata Motors is wrapped the AMT in the Zest. The GenX Nano, that is yet to be out in a few days, would be the one equipped with this technology.
