Petrol price hiked by 60 paise and diesel by 50 paise per litre

Petrol & Diesel again hiked from today midnight. Petrol hiked by 60 paise per litre, the second price hike this year. Diesel hiked 50 paise per litre this is the 14th hike since January 2014.

The hike price effective from today onwards, are excluding local sales tax or VAT and actual hike price increase will be vary city to city.

4th January was the last hiked in the petrol 91 paise this year then petrol cost will 73.16 a litre in Delhi and 72.43 per litre in UP.

Now Mumbai fuel price, petrol cost will be 82.07 per litre as against 81.31 at present.

As per new hike in diesel 57 paise, Delhi diesel price 55.48 per litre including tax, while new diesel price in Mumbai 63.86 a litre against 63.23 at present.

Indian oil Corp. Announced the price hike and nation’s largest fuel retailer said about fuel price has been hiked in international market. The oil rates have risen because rupee depreciated against US dollar so making imports costlier.

The government decided in January 2014 about diesel price raise rates by up to 50 paise per month per litre till such time when the entire losses on the fuel are wiped out.

After 14th hike since January 2013, the oil companies are incurring 8.37 per litre loss on sales.
