New Audi A3 Might be Launch in February 2017

2017 Audi A3 facelift will receive with exterior and interior upgrades along with new petrol engine.

Audi India is planning to launch its new iteration and popular A3 sedan in February this year. It has changes with sporting aesthetic to the exterior and interior in New Audi A3 facelift and receives a new petrol engine. The current variants will be 1.8 litre unit replaced by the 1.4 litre petrol engine in its new Audi A4. First launched in 2014; the entry level premium sedan has undergone several changes.

2017 Audi A3 will launch with new exterior and interior along with new in cabin tech inside. Additionally, the new petrol unit engine on the facelift version will be most likely affect the cost. It will be launch in Indian market, somewhere close to Rs 25 lakh for the entry level variant up to Rs 32 lakh for the top variants.

Audi A3 Launch Date in India

As per reports, New Audi A3 is expected to break cover in February 2017. There is no official announcement about the launch date yet from Audi Company, but as per reports opine that launch could happen before the end of this month.

Audi A3 Specification

2017 New Audi A3 specification will come from the 1.4 litre TFSI gasoline unit and replacing its previous 1.8 litre unit. It is the same unit that does duty on the new Audi A4. Audi A3 engine will make the maximum power of 148bhp, peak torque of 250Nm and its current 1.8 litre petrol engine produced 178bhp. Its transmitting power, the sedan will use the 7-speed automatic gearbox system. However, the performance of the latest engine is likely to sprint from 0 to 100 kmph within 8.2 seconds while attaining a top speed of 224kmph. The diesel variants A3 on the other hand will continue to derive with power from the 2.0 litre TDI engine from its pre-facelift version.

New Audi A3 Facelift Mileage

The New Audi A3 1.4 litre TFSI petrol unit is expected to be fuel efficient with an estimated mileage of 20kmpl and it diesel engine unit will be retained, there will be no change in the fuel economy.

2017 Audi A3 with the new features will receive new set of LED headlamps, reworked single-frame grille and new LED tail-lamps. The car will be sport Audi’s virtual Cockpit with a 12.3 inch TFT screen and replacing the dials on the instrument console. Addionatly in inside, there will be restyled AC vents and USB port also. It is the premium sedan will receive a new 1.4 litre TFSI engine bidding its current 1.8 litre unit.
