The next generation wagon R to be offered in in 5-7 seated variants will be launched in 2017. The 7-seat Wagon R on the current generation model at the 2013 edition of the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS).

The expected price of this next generation wagon R is INR 4-6 lakhs. The car maker uses the new strategies to diversify in new segments and the company will target annual sales over 2 lakhs units, and said that surplus cash will be used for new product development.
