The brand Maruti is all set to float the Ciaz hybrid right after the Independence Day. However as of now there is no date being mentioned about this launch, but as per the reports the all new Maruti Ciaz hybrid is considered to be launched a week after the 15th of August 2015.

Well, if the reports are to be believed the hybrid model would come in place of the diesel motor that is currently been sold in the market, however the petrol unit would still be on the shelves.

The hybrid variant of the Maruti Ciaz would use the similar 1.3-L Multijet dynamo however a little later it would be teamed with the SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) technology. A lithium-ion battery that would get charged by reformative braking. It would produce an added torque to the unit and would also sport a start-stop component.This supplementary feature would enable the Maruti Ciaz to provide an enhanced fuel competency of 28-30 kmpl over and above the previous 26 kmpl.

The new car would also sport some new beautifications that are predicted to be transported on to the petrol version too. The latest hybrid model would definitely be retailed out from the new specialNexa showrooms that at present hosts the latest and recently launched S Cross. 

Maruti dealers have announced for a discount of INR 25,000 on the Ciaz that might be a strategy to clear out the old stock so as to make room for the new offering. The SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) technology was presented by Maruti at the Geneva Motor Show 2015 describing how the lithium-ion batteriesattachedto the motor in order to churn out an added torque. In accordance to the reports, the new hybrid Ciaz would be INR 75,000 to 1.2 lac pricier than the present model dependent on the variant.
