Here are the first exposed spy shots of the upcoming  Mahindra XUV500 2015 (facelift) that is expected to go up for sales in the weeks ahead. Launched in September 2011, this is the first considerable refurbish for Mahindra’s flagship offering in its own brand.

The front fore plays numerous cosmetic shifts engineers have crafted, with new headlamps clusters and a chrome-rich grille. The light clusters seem to sport a ‘S-shaped’ LED daytime running lamp, much like the new Scorpio’s ‘LED eyebrow’. ‘L-shaped’ chrome-finished fog lamps circles belong to the updates up front.
 
An updated alloy wheel pattern looks like the only other main design update on the SUV. Older images have shown that the rear would get a chrome-garnished registration tray cell, apart from this, there are no major changes. However, the Purple hue seen on this car could be one of the new color options Mahindra would offer on the XUV500 make-over.

Inshore, car carries over from the current model, although the Plum shade for the seats and plastic inserts has made way for a new beige color for a more booming look. The 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine is rarely looking for a change on the face lifted XUV500. Once on road, he New Safari Storme would face off with the Renault Duster variants, Nissan Terrano variants, Skoda Yeti, Tata Safari Storme, estimated between INR 11-16 lakhs, ex-showroom in the Capital.
