Hyundai launches new CX variant of the Verna for Rs 8.07 lakh

The Verna CX will be powered by the same existing engine, the 1.4-litre petrol engine produces 105bhp and 138Nm of torque whereas the 1.4-litre diesel unit churns out 89bhp and 224Nm of torque.

Hyundai has introduced the new variant CX of Verna sedan, against the launch of new Honda City. Company planned to overcome to the sales figure affected by the new Honda City. The new CX variant will comes up with the price tag of Rs 8.07 lakhs (Ex showroom Delhi) for the petrol version, and Rs 9.28 lakhs (Ex showroom Delhi) for the diesel version.

The new Verna CX  gets the features like  park assist, ABS, redesigned alloys wheels,, driver airbag, electric ORVMs , disc brakes with all wheels, and steering mounted audio controls.

The Verna has always been a good return for money offering and this new variant only increases the Korean manufacturer’s footprint in the C-Segment, which has been looking tough competition from the likes of the Maruti SX4, Ford Fiesta, Volkswagen Vento and the newly launched Honda City.
