This is indeed one of the most important product for the brand. The company has commenced pre-launch action, this also includes going on for early test drives for catching the media attention.
As the reports suggest, the brand is planning to keep a new and different name for the new SUV.The brand is making their new machine, ready to roll out in the market, giving a tough time to the current Duster from Renault and Scorpio beats by the Mahindra name. The ix25 SUV, would be powered by the similar units as in Verna that is a 1.6L petrol and diesel dynamos.
The basic version, along with a 1.4L diesel engine could also be house on board. It’s still not quite clear that this compact SUV would be gifted an AMT or not. The parts of the new ix25 have been localized for an extent of 90 percent. The Hyundai has invested nearly Rs. 1000 Crore in the making of this product. It is expected to arrive carrying a price tag of Rs.8-10 lakhs, ex-showroom in the capital. And we assume, the car would give a strong competition to the current running products like Maruti Sx4, duster, Nissan Terrano etc.
