Honda Cars India to empower INR 600 crore

Honda Cars India is preparing to invest a sum of INR 500-600 Cr.during the current fiscal in order to enhance the production volume in India, asper the reports on Business Standard. The venture would also enable its Greater Noida R&D facility fetching a full-fledged unit

In a trial to boost the manufacturing in the countrywith an objective to intensify the production up to 3 lakh units a year, this indeed is a commendable step initiated by brand Honda. Honda Cars India is preparing to invest a sum of INR 500-600 Cr.during the current fiscal in order to enhance the production volume in India, asper the reports on Business Standard. The venture would also enable its Greater Noida R&D facility fetching a full-fledged unit. Honda’s investment in its Tapukara plant would observe a manufacturing evolution by at least 50 percent. The investment would amplify the facility’s making ability in its Tapukara plant by 50 percent, captivating it from 1,20,000 units a year to 1,80,000 units a year. The company’s additional units in Greater Noida carries the ability to manufacture a total of 1,20,000 units a year. With an ability of 2,40,000 units per year at the moment, the company sold 1,89,062 units in the previous financial year. With this new investment plan of the company, the overall production would be enhanced and increased upto 3,00,000 units.
