This latest act of recall is followed by another one that took place in 2013 by the company, when they had called back 1.14 lakh Taveras, with recurrent emission and some more regulatory issues.Earlier as well, while the cars bearded this issue, there was a huge bad name being spread against the General Motors regarding the safety and protection of the customers, all across the auto industry. There was even an official board been set up that indicted the company of being fake while taking care of the problems.

Although, the plea from the GM officials this time is that the remote keyless entry fittings meet all the regulation standards and the company is going to get in touch with all the customers in order to correct the fittings and all of this would be free of cost. Also they added, as and when any of their customers have contacted them in case of a problem with the remote keyless entry fissure, they are directed to visit any of their nearby Chevrolet dealers and get the problem inspected, free of charge.

Although it’s not a bad mark on the company, as they are only taking an initiative to be sure, rather than sorry and correct all their fittings, may be with an improved technology to provide hassle free driving experience to its customers, however this fashion is a little negative in India, giving an impact on the brand, claiming them to be irresponsible and the makes marked as bad. Maruti, along with Tata, Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Mahindra & Mahindra have been in a similar position earlier as well and has intended recalls. Recently, a lot of the manufacturers from Japan like Toyota, Honda and Nissan declared recalls in order to the airbags fault, globally.
