Ford Endeavour 2015 seized testing on the lanes of India

The third-generation Ford Endeavour was captured on the lens testing for the first time on the roads of India.Ford India has shipped test vehicles to Chennai from Thailand, where the model was presented with the Ford Everest , estimated at 1,269,000 Baht (INR 24.27 lakhs).

The blue car is reported to be powered by a 2.2L TDCI diesel engine teamed up with a manual transmission. The silver car is reported as an automatic version with a 6-speed along with a similar engine, powered by a 2.2L engine pulling out 158.24 hp and 385 Nm of Force in the Thai model. Both cars are 2WD versions.
 
The Endeavour would be rolled out with full-time 4WD and lockable rear differential. Another variant is a new Terrain Management System with four driving modes. The third car in black is reported to be powered by a larger 3.2L Duratorq 5-cylinder diesel unit that can pull out 197.13 hp and 470 Nm of Force. The engine is teamed up to a 6-speed automatic transmission. This test car is 4WD enabled, with Ford’s terrain management system that alters throttle response, gear, differential, and traction control on the request of the prime command.
 
The Endeavour is inspired on a modified Ranger platform and offers SYNC 2 infotainment, dual-zone HVAC and cruise control. The 2015 Endeavour features new changes on the superficial front and also inshore may comprise features likely to the Ford Everest launched in Thailand. It be imported as CKD kits and assembled at the company’s Chennai plant.
