Better mileage from new fuel efficiency norms

The Government has introduce new fuel-efficiency guidelines for passenger vehicles, it expects that cost of the cars would not increase with new guidelines, at least in the first stage then it will go high from April 2016.

The new mileage formula would be based upon the number of cars sold, weight and type of fuel used. The new guideline will be applied to all the models not applicable for any particular model or type.

Additionally, the new benchmarks will definitely cut the fuel costs of users by maximum to 14 per cent.
