Apple Diving Head First into the Automotive Industry

Apple continues its research for the world domination with its next big efforts ? iOS in the car. Last year in 2013, Apple mentioned this at Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) but now they have announced its three manufacturing partners - Volvo, Mercedes-Benz and Ferrari.

Apple continues its research for the world domination with its next big efforts – iOS in the car. Last year in 2013, Apple mentioned this at Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) but now they have announced its three manufacturing partners - Volvo, Mercedes-Benz and Ferrari.

‘Car Play’ as it is currently dubbed with truly blends your phone to your car, with use of Siri, the digital assistant offered by Apple. The new dashboard software is designed by Apple to be safe for drivers to use, which offers completely hands free controls via voice commands. These include but are not confined to music, phone calls, GPS driving directions and more.  You would need an iPhone 5 or latest for running iOS 7 to be compatible with the service.

Apple has also revealed its partnerships with more brands including Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Toyota, Ford, General Motors, Suzuki, Subaru, Kia, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, and Honda.
