All you need is INR 50,000 to book for the new Renault Lodgy

Bookings open now, for the new Renault Lodgy, it would be available in two powerful states. The merchants of Renault India have already started accepting pre-bookings for the Renault Lodgy, although the variant is expected to launch in the month of April. The booking estimated amount is as low as INR 50,000. The Lodgy would be powered by 1.5-L four-cylinder K9K diesel engine, likewise in other Renault-Nissan products like the Micra, Sunny, Terrano, Duster, Pulse, Scala and Fluence.
This time too the machine would be up for sales in two states of tune – 85 PS and 110 PS. The 85 PS variant pulls out 200 Nm of force, and comes teamed up with a 5-speed transmission, the 110 PS pulls out 245 Nm of force and teamed up with a 6-speed gearbox.
AMT is however missing on the Lodgy. The 85 PS variant asserts 21.04 km/h while the more powerful 110 PS returns 19.98 km/l in the ARAI tests. The Lodgy would be available in two seating outlines – 8 and 7 seats –The machine 4,498 mm in lengthwise, 1,751 mm in wide, 1,697 mm tall and 2,810 mm at the wheelbarrows. The Lodgy offers a 275L boot, 1,861 liters when the last two rows are bent. Dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, reverse parking sensors and a touchscreen Media NAV system are some of the add-on features that would be seen in the top-end version of the Lodgy.
